Originally built as a forward outpost by some Druegar, the chapel now known as Consecration has had a long past of housing evil inhabitants. The last evil denizen, a lich named Guris was slain by a band of adventurers several years ago. The cleric of the group, Brother Bourvon, spent three months clearing, cleaning and consecrating the dungeon in the name of his god.

When it was finished he attempted to gift it to the local magistrate and church, but they refused, insisting he keep and maintain it as a bastion of the light. After a year, Bourvon had attracted a small following of 12-15 followers. Despite their good natures, most of these followers lacked formal education or training, so Bourvon rearranged Consecration to focus more on education than faith.

Bourvon's most trusted assistants are Sister Vera Pristain, and Sir Kesher Jaylor. Vera was one of this first people to come to the church. She learned the ways of a cleric, traveled the lands for five years, and then returned to the church to teach new initiates. Kesher was once a notorious local bandit leader who was converted by Bourvon. Kesher is now a fierce defender of the order. He trains initiates in martial pursuits.

1 - ENTRANCE
The stonework in the entrance appears to have been recently restored, and is clearly kept immaculately clean and free of dust. A large, brightly polished, seven pointed silver star, radiates divine magic at the entry.
2 - PRAYER AREA
A small stage made of pine stands on the northern wall. A large seven pointed star is painted behind the stage. Seven, eight foot pine pews, sit in rows before the stage. A chest of drawers covered in history books and filled with writing supplies stands on the southern wall.

3 - STUDY AREA
Eight, six foot, pine tables, each surrounded by five chairs take up the bulk of this area. Pine chests full of educational materials and tools sit under each table. Maps of the local area cover the southern wall, while maps of the continent cover the northern. The eastern wall is filled with book cases containing a large number of old, priceless books. Each case holds a single language, and one case holds copies of books transcribed by students.
4 - PHYSICAL TRAINING AREA
Old canvas drawings depicting anatomy cover the western wall. Below these pictures are large pine chests holding ropes, straps, and chunks of metal used for training. Racks of weapons and training dummies stand along the southern wall. Two 10' sparring circles have been painted on the floor in this area, as well as a line used for sprinting exercises. A chalkboard on the northern wall shows a ladder style tracking system.

5 - HALL OF TRIALS
This hallway was once used as a dungeon, and manacles still hang from the walls. It was restored but remains unlit and mostly unused. Initiates who seek to become members of the light must pass through this hallway from south to north. "The Light" tests those who would become members, and no shame is cast on those who walk the Hall and fail. Recently, three men entered the hall, but were never seen again.
6 - STUDENT LOUNGE
Four small couches and six padded chairs are scattered about the southern portion of this room. A dozen wooden chairs are interspersed among them as students will frequently drag them about as groups and conversations shift around the room. A large chalk board on the southern wall serves as community message board. Small bookcases and tables are also scattered throughout the area.

7 - STUDENT BUNKS
Three rows of four bunks fill this area. Each bunk has three beds and a few small hooks on which to hang packs of personal effects.
8 - LOCKERS AND STAIRS
One foot deep cubbies, holding excess personal effects of the initiates, line the western wall leading to the stairs.

9 - THE UPPER HALLWAY
This hallway smells of incense and alchemy. Seven pointed stars made of real silver adorn the walls every three feet.
10 - MEMBER BUNKS
Brother Bourvon and the other trainers live here. Most full members leave Consecration soon after initiation, but they can always sleep here if need be. Six two bed bunks are arranged in two neat rows. Silver stars adorn the walls, and circles of glass hang from the ceiling to house light spells.

11 - ARMORY AND STORAGE
Armor stands holding chain, scale, and field plate line the walls. Weapon stands holding swords, maces, shields, and crossbows stand between them. A number of solid pine chests hold miscellaneous equipment.

12 - PRAYER ROOM
A 10' silver star adorns the western wall of this room. A small table holding burning incense sits below the star, and a basket filled with more incense can be found under the table.
13 - MESS HALL AND KITCHEN
Three rows of six foot long pine tables and benches fill this room. Sconces holding torches line the walls and a glass sphere 3' in diameter hangs from the ceiling to hold light spells. Stoves and ovens stand along the southern wall, as well as a few pine cupboards holding simple dishes and food. Three large water barrels can also be found here.

A member of the church can always be found cooking and serving food from sunup 'till a few hours past sunset. All food is free and of modest proportions.
